We grew up in a timber shop in Mumbai.

Kramo was started by a family that runs a timber business in Mumbai. We grew up watching the register, the chits and the evening totals, and the phone calls asking a customer, politely, about money that was long overdue.

Around us, every trade worked the same way: steel, cement, tiles, grain. Crores moved on paper and memory. When the munim was away, the shop slowed down. The software that existed was made for accountants who type, not for owners who talk business all day.

I'm not good with phones. Can I use it?

If you can send a voice note on WhatsApp, yes. You hold the mic and speak. We set the app up with you in person and stay a phone call away.

Do I need to type, or know English?

No. Speak in Hindi or English, the way you talk in the shop. The app can be switched fully to Hindi.

My units are odd. Will it work?

Yes. Pieces, kg, bags, boxes, square feet, quintals, sheets, and items sold by weight. Each party's usual unit and rate is remembered.

I already use Tally. What happens to it?

We bring your parties, balances and full history in from Tally. Your CA can keep using Tally with our Tally-ready export.

What if the network goes?

Entries save on your phone first and sync when the network comes back. Nothing is lost.

Is my data safe? Who can see it?

Your data is stored securely and shared only with your permission. Your private book is encrypted on your phone, so even we cannot read it.

Will my munim still be needed?

Yes. Kramo takes away the late-night copying, not the person. Staff and munims can make entries; you approve them.

What happens after the 30-day pilot?

We call you before it ends. Pick a plan to continue, or stop. There is no card on file and nothing is charged automatically. Plans start at ₹399 a month, billed yearly.
